POSITION SUMMARY:
This is an Outside Sales position, responsible for the management and growth of an assigned sales territory. Responsible for determining potential new customers, acquiring new business, and creating and executing a defined sales strategy. The position is mentored and coached by an experienced Sales Rep and Supervisor until proficiency is reached.

* Attends and completes onboarding plan and relevant training to become proficient in all aspects of the role
* Actively meets with and communicates with Supervisor and Sales Mentor around progress and development needs
* Creates, develops and executes a Territory Sales Plan to meet specific business objectives and goals
* Develops relationships and acts as a consultant to grow business
* Identifies opportunities based on production, potential and market knowledge
* Overcomes objections and sells against the competition to meet goals
* Effectively gathers and communicates critical market and competitor information
* Local travel required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Education and/or experiences listed below are the minimum requirements for job entry.
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* College a bonus, but not required
* Sales experience preferred, but not required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Knowledge, skills/abilities listed below are the requirements needed to be proficient in the job.
- Listening, verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to analyze data and results to identify business opportunities
- Strong sales skills, including rapport building, discovery and closing techniques
- Ability to deliver attentive, knowledgeable and confident service
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
